Improving Retention Through Smarter Hiring
Integrating Asentaa Assessment into Recruitment for a Leading F&B Equipment
Manufacturer in Southeast Asia
A leading food and beverage capital equipment manufacturer sought to ensure that the most suitable candidates were hired for all newly created positions in its new Southeast Asia regional center. The regional manager, relocated from Europe, decided to make the Asentaa Assessment an integral part of the recruitment process. Over seven years, more than a dozen hires were made using this assessment-driven approach.
The manager’s primary concern was the relatively low average tenure of new hires in Asia compared to Europe. To evaluate the impact of this new approach, a KPI was introduced to compare each hire’s average tenure in their previous companies with their tenure in the new role. The results were striking — the average tenure of employees in the new roles was found to be 2.5 times higher than in their previous positions, and this figure has continued to rise as the regional center matures.
